Join us for "Uplifting!" a concert with the parish choir and pianist Lynne Haeseler

We hope you'll join us on Thursday, February 4 at 7:30 p.m. for our parish choir concert: "Uplifting! Music for the Spirit".

There is much to be thankful for in this season that can sometimes be associated with a post-Christmas lull. Come celebrate with us in this concert -- featuring music by Rachmaninoff, Vaughan Williams, and Mendelssohn -- that draws on themes of the Presentation (a nearby feast day), exalting the humble, and the deep inner peace that comes from trusting in God.

In addition to our parish choir, you'll hear our organist Ann Hollmann, a couple hymns to sing along with if you are so inclined, and pianist Lynne Haeseler, renowned across the Valley for her creative programs at churches and art galleries.

Admission is free; donations (food, clothing, or financial) benefit ICM Food and Clothing Bank.
Christ Church of the Ascension is located at 4015 East Lincoln Drive in Paradise Valley.

Pianist Dr. Lynne Haeseler is a collaborative and versatile artist who has performed nationally and internationally as a soloist, accompanist and dance pianist. Influenced by dance theater, she integrates movement, lighting, visual effects and spoken word into her unique piano performances. Her multidisciplinary events include performances coordinated with sunset, a salon series at Marshall Fine Art gallery, collaborative educational programs, such as Beethoven, Buildings and BMW motorcycles,  wine and music tastings and even a 7-course dinner paired with music.
